The Top 100 Hedge Funds Choose Who’s Tops Among Service Providers
How do the biggest, most sophisticated hedge funds rate their accountants, lawyers, and other service providers?
To find out, we looked to the Hedge Fund 100, Alpha’s exclusive ranking of the world’s biggest single-manager hedge fund firms. This year, 67 of the Hedge Fund 100 firms took part in our survey; we recalculated the rankings using only their votes. As the tables below show, some of the results are very different from the overall Alpha Awards™ rankings.
Many smaller firms did not receive enough votes to be ranked, including Ogier, the overall No. 1 offshore law firm. Others that don’t fare as well in the overall ranking, like the Big Four accounting firms, rocked up in this one. Many big hedge funds clearly favor big service providers with deep resources that can be harnessed to cater to their varied demands.
